The “don’t breathe” is the headline of the poster already show what the movie theme is about something that is horror. The text used large and formal letter based on white to make it sharper and it not the same colour as the background that make it more attract the audience. 

The three teenagers on the front of the poster with different props and uniform. Their jacket and jeans all based on black show them they are maybe very suspicious. Also, you can see the tool they took it seem like they are thief because only thief will take the crowbar. Or actually they are going on an adventure. 

 

The text “this house looks like an easy target. Until they found what was inside.” it built a scary tension and also those teenagers that think the house is an easy target but when they really found out that they are actually in a trap or danger. Meanwhile the background of the building has alarming and creepy eyes looking toward them and also the audience who saw this. It makes people feel uncomfortable and scary. The eyes are also rolled to be white like he is blind, maybe it is hints that you should not look at something. 

The house was very old and groovy, the audience already know is a horror film. Also, the tree make it look more scary 

 

 

Reflection: This is my first time try on analysing poster, I try to basic on the colour, text, picture, lighting to start the analysis. I have learnt the basic analysis so that can lead me better analysis other poster.
