Analysis: film analysis-(IT) opening sence

 The film starting from the camera panning down from a building and the kid is rushing down the stairs. And the sky was dim dark and raining. The boy was wearing a yellow raincoat, the raincoat and the setting are not match connate that something danger may happen to him or he is the protagonist. The boy was waving at the window while the shot cross cut to the other boy behind the window saying to him "be careful" connoted something dangerous may happen to the boy alone in the rain. And then a extreme close up of the boy putting a small paper boat to the water flow, the boy follow the boat happily, can hear the joy of the laugh form the boy and also the music seem clam and adventurous. As the boy chase down the boat, the camera shot show the kid doge the first barriers but using point of view showing that he was too focus on the boat so he didn't see the second barrier, and then when the boy look up the pov hit the barrier that help build the intense. Using the long shot, mainly focus on the boat but in the back you can see the boy feeling pain in his head. The boy didn't give up at all so do the non diegetic sound of the music also become louder and louder. Close up on the ditch that the ship are going to went down, the ship hanging in the edge, slowly and slowly the ship went down the ditch. The boy scream with a  "no..." and say "phi gonna kill me " that explain the boy was extremely sad and disappointed. The boy bend down and look at the dark ditch trying to find the boat. In the dark, suddenly a eyes jump out from not where in the ditch, a jump scare is very common in a horror film. A creepy voice from the ditch say hi to georgie. when the antagonist get closer to the light, his face revealed in the use of dim dark lighting. The big mouth with red make up connotes that he is a clown or joker, also red connotes blood and death. The conversations between them show that the boy is very sweet and innocent but compare to the character in the ditch was ugly and creepy that used the theory of LEVI STRAUSS of BINARY OPPOSITION like they show good vs bad and the light is bright in the boy side but in the other side was the dark like covering something. Cross cut back to a door opened by a old women, she open the blinds outside and see the boy was looking at ditch. and when she looked back the boy was gone while the antagonist drag the boy away into the ditch. 

The scence end with a high angle shot.
