A lot of film like to describe a young girl in a horror story can symbolize innocence and vulnerability but in this photo you can see that the girl in the photo holding a knife so that connote the girl is an antagonists of the film and knife connote  a visceral and graphic weapon, and its use in horror can convey a sense of brutality and violence. The lighting was dim dark so audience cannot tell what the antagonists looks like but by looking at her shape is it a girl. The back shadow that cover the antagonists connote an element of mystery and intrigue around their character.
